We are a Federation of Lutheran Congregations joined together by the common hope found in Christ Jesus, our Savior and Lord.
The lectionary is a collection of readings from the Holy Bible. The readings are arranged by Sunday of the Church Year and include specific Holy Days. There is typically a reading from the Old Testament, the Psalms, the Epistles and the Holy Gospels. These scripture readings can be read at weekly gatherings of Gods People or used for daily personal meditation. An organized lectionary had already begun to be established by the Church in the 4th century.
